DML Product Retirement Reminder

Detached Marketing Label (DML) will be replaced by Plus One

Grace period starting on July 13, 2025, and ending on January 18, 2026

With the new rate change taking place on July 13th, 2025, the DML product will no longer be available and will be replaced with Plus One. Industry software will be updated on January 4, 2026 (Effective January 18, 2026).

Grace period: All customers using DML will need to use the Plus One price line but can continue to use industry software for DML.

  • The DML price category will be eliminated and Plus One will take the place of DML. Use the Plus One price line for DML
  • The software (.dat and .xml) will not yet be updated, so please advise customers of the six-month grace period. Customers can still use .dat and .xml for their DML/Plus One mailings.

On January 4, 2026 (Effective January 18, 2026), a software update (for .dat and .xml) will be introduced and DML will be fully eliminated.

  • All customers using Plus One in place of DML in the past will continue to use Plus One.
  • All Plus One mailings will use the Plus One price listing and requirements.
  • All Plus One mailings will be compatible with industry software (.dat and .xml will be compliant at this time).
  • DML mailings will no longer be accepted, as the workaround/extension ends with this release.
